I have been working in photography for several years and have practised most forms of the discipline at one stage or the other with considerable success. I have chosen commercial food photography as it is new to me and it offers a fresh challenge. The rewards for the elite in this field can be substantially high.

I have been told that food photography is possibly one of the hardest areas of the industry to master. It has been said that if you can photograph food then you can photograph anything.

They were right, this project has proved to be very challenging as it has it's own unique problems; unlike conventional still life, the nature of food means you only get a narrow time slot to work in before it spoils. I have acquired a great deal of respect for the top food photographers whilst working on this project.
