Julie Allan presents

Through the Eye of the Lens

To date and specifically toward Showcase, being my end of year Degree Presentation Entry, I have been working and studying in Zurich. I have been working on a number of sequences composed of still images, looking specifically at the role of The Stills Photographer in Film.

The majority of images being used for this project have been shot using Cannon EOS 300 Film Camera, using llford Black and White, Kodak Black and White and Colour respectively, together with Kodak Professional Colour Film. Lens' used for this work being Sigma 18 to 55mm, in order to produce the vignetting finish, giving me the required effect I wished for two of my collections of images used within film sequences, in specific "Through the Eye of the Lens".

A further Lens used being Cannon EF 50mm f1.8. All work has been processed and scanned for stills sequence editing and hard copy. I hope you enjoy viewing same, I have had great fun producing this project, holistically. I would also like to credit my son, Andrew Kennedy for the support he has given me, especially toward the end of this project which was based in Zurich.
