My exhibition consists of six wildlife portraits taken in the United Kingdom over the past twelve weeks. I chose to use two categories (Animal Portraits and Urban and Garden Wildlife) and the rules from two wildlife photographic competitions to guide my work, to create portrait style images that are a true representation of the time the images where taken and that reflects the animals, their environments and behaviours.

I am passionate about all aspects of wildlife and I find myself constantly gaining new insight and knowledge in to the natural world and although I enjoy travelling across the UK to witness some of the spectacular wildlife events that take place each year, many of my images are taken in my local area of Bedford. The aim for my work is to help raise awareness of the diverse natural history that we have around us.
