Chris Woodhouse presents
"The River Thames as it winds its way though the heart of London, has always fascinated me, both for its panoramic views, its history and its ever changing scenes. With its huge tidal ranges, the light and the weather, you never really see the same scene twice! In the Exhibition I am displaying 3 sets of panoramas that show 180 degree views, both during the day, and at dusk/early evening. The panoramas have all been created 'manually' using Photoshop CS2.
The accompanying book 'London's River - An Architectural Perspective' looks more closely at the buildings and views of the River Thames, particularly focusing on some of the hidden gems that are to be found along, or close to the river between Westminster and Greenwich. Signed limited editions (100) of the book are available.
I specialise in architectural photography, along with portraiture and fine art. To me, architecture covers so much more than just buildings. Anything with an element of design counts as a suitable subject to be photographed and that is reflected in my work."
